Salewa's 3F system creates an anatomical fit that works with the asymmetry of the human foot and results in less movement in the heel, less rubbing, and less potential for blisters. A "Y"-shaped wire connection spreads the lacing three-dimensionally to hug the entire foot and better control the movement of the heel.

The shoe's Air Mesh upper maximizes breathability and provides built-in stretch for a forgiving fit. A waterproof/breathable GORE-TEX membrane keeps feet dry and comfortable and a rubber toe cap adds protection against rocks and roots.
