Snow Peak was founded by Yukio Yamai in the Niigata Prefecture of Japan, a region known for its mountainous terrain cut by rivers and streams. However, as he continued to climb higher and higher, he became increasingly frustrated with the low quality climbing gear that was available. Over the coming years, Snow Peak would change their focus to high quality camping gear, tents, cookware, and camping furniture. While many other of their competitors quickly switched to using cheap plastics, Snow Peak kept making their gear the way they always had: out of metal. Snow Peak even adopted an ultra-light, ultra-strong titanium, making their camping gear just as light as plastic, but much much stronger and durable.

Our company proudly takes full responsibility for the high quality of our products. If we find that the product didn't live up to our standards, we'll repair it or exchange it free of charge. In other cases, we'll provide the necessary repairs for a reasonable fee. Please understand that we will not be able to repair damage caused by typical wear and tear or product misuse. Common examples of wear and tear include scuffs/scratches, abrasions, faded colors, or minor denting. Additionally, the warranty does not cover products that have been altered in any way.
