Badlands

The Best Hunting Gear on Earth

Badlands: Hunting Packs, Bags & Accessories

Badlands is, and always will be, a company based on the unconditional dedication to quality and performance. Badlands began from truly humble beginnings: a few broke friends making gear they loved out of a rented storage unit. But even with their less than state-of-the-art equipment, the passion and care put into their early designs was impossible for people to ignore. Soon with a modest group of dedicated fans, Badlands managed to upgrade their equipment and push their designs even further. But it was not until their gear was discovered by the hunting community that Badlands would find their true calling.

Leaning into the new demand for better hunting equipment, Badlands has since expanded their hunting gear to include fantastic camo jackets, camo backpacks, camo shirts, and more. To this day that original spark of passion that began in a self-storage unit can still be felt in every product they make. Everything they make is extremely high quality, lightweight, and calculated to increase your chance of a successful hunt. For a truly amazing backpack, try the Badlands Diablo Hunting Day Pack, or for an incredible camo hunting jacket, try the Badlands Calor Jacket. Badlands truly is some of the best hunting equipment in the world.

At OutlandUSA.com, Badlands is one of our premier hunting brands, and we very often recommend them to local hunters in our Nashville community. Give Badlands a try.

Badlands. Unconditional, Unmistakable Hunting Gear.

We solemnly swear to put a big weight on our shoulders, so your load's a little lighter. We swear to help you swear less. And to go a mile more. We swear to always be unconditional. Unmistakable. And a little bit crazy about everything you're crazy about. We're Badlands.

 Questions & Tips

Q: Is My Pack Waterproof

Here's the thing; there is a huge difference between Water Proof and Water Resistant. Any company who claims "water proof" but uses a sewing machine to produce their products -is leading you down the Primrose path. The fact is, even if the fabrics used during construction start out water proof (ours does) once you start punching holes in it with a needle and thread, it's game over. The reason is: exposed thread acts like a small candle wick, slowly absorbing the water and pulling it into the pack. We go to great lengths to putting an end to this senseless absorption- by sealing and taping every seam on the pack. Yet, regardless of our valiant efforts "water resistant" is all that current technology allows for. That being said: take some precautions that will insure that your expensive electronics and cell phones do not turn into aquatic fatalities. If you are anticipating severe weather put these items into sealable dry bags, use a rain cover and spray the seams of your pack with an effective water proof treatment. Such as, the critically acclaimed and wonderful scent reducing waterproofing spray by Badlands (its our website we can plug ourselves if we want).

Q: How Does Badlands Reduce Scents?

Most Badlands gear uses two forms of scent management technology:

  1. Antimicrobial treatment to destroy obor causing microbes
  2. Naturally scent resistant merino wool

Badlands Warranty Information

For non-warranty exchanges and returns, please see our policy here.

If you believe you have a warranty claim, please reach out to us directly here.

From Badlands:
BADLANDS LEGENDARY WARRANTY

*Due to the current situation with Covid-19, all products returned for warranty will be put in "quarantine" for a week, just like the rest of us. This will help ensure the continued health of our "oh-so-important" warranty staff who get to handle your gear. We ensure that we'll make the delay as short as humanly possible and get your gear back to you as quickly as we can. We thank you for your patience.

We don't care what happened, or whose fault it was, we will fix it for free forever. We could care less if you bought it at a garage sale or a gear swap, as long as it says Badlands, it's covered. All we ask is that you use and abuse your pack as much as possible so we can learn how to make our products even better.

However, the pack must be repairable, if you throw it in a fire, -with the expectations that sort of craftiness will yield you a brand new pack - that is incorrect. In all honesty, we have seen it all and we understand accidents happen and if it is legit we will always do our best to find you a replacement pack from our demo fleet.

Badlands has always been known for having the best warranty in the hunting industry bar none. As a matter of fact, since we began in 1994 we have built our business around exceeding our customer's expectations. With the launch of the Badlands' Apparel line, nothing is going to change.. However, let's face it, clothing is an entirely different animal, therefore, there are a few modifications.

THE OFFICIAL BADLANDS' NO HASSLE APPAREL WARRANTY

Badland's unequivocally guarantees that anything with a "Red Bull's head" on it, will be the absolute finest garment you have ever owned, period.

We guarantee your Badlands product against defects in materials or workmanship under normal wear and tear for the life of the product.

If at the time you purchase one of our products, it does not exceed your expectations, return it and we will exchange or refund your purchase. However, if life hands you a particularly bad day of hunting (sounds impossible right?) and you rip or tear your Badlands gear, we will do our absolute best to repair it if we can.

Badlands Apparel Size Chart & Sizing Information

GREAT HUNTS START WITH A GOOD FIT

Don't overlook comfort as a factor in your hunting success. That means having the right fit, from your base layer to your outer shell, and even your pack frame. At Badlands we want to help you get the fit you need, so you can focus on the pursuit, rather than your gear.

SIZING CONSIDERATIONS

For proper fit, both men and women should read through the Official Badlands Sizing Charts and Layering Guide carefully, and keep the following in mind:

  • If you're looking at outer layers or rain gear that you plan to wear over thicker layers, consider going one size larger than normal.
  • If you're picking a base layer, go with your regular clothing size. If you prefer an extra-snug, athletic fit, you can go one size down.
  • If you have any additional questions, email us at info@badlandspacks.com and well be happy to assist you.

HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF

For the most accurate results, use a fabric measuring tape. You can also use string, then measure it against a ruler or yardstick. Your measurements will be more accurate if you have someone else assist you in taking them. Follow these instructions for your best Badlands fit.

MEN'S MEASUREMENTS

CHEST

  • Measure around your chest and body at its fullest part (typically right under the armpits and shoulder blades, right across the nipples).
  • Hold the tape against your body tight enough so that it does not slip down, but not so tight that it restricts breathing. It should be snug.
  • Make sure the tape is horizontal and your arms are by your side; relax, then measure.
  • No chest puffing or exhaling.
  • Double check the measurement.

SLEEVE

  • Keep your elbow slightly bent.
  • Measure from the center back of your neck (bottom center of your collar) to the end of your shoulder at the top of your arm (with your arm hanging straight down), then continue that measurement from the top of your shoulder to the center of the back of your hand. Add both measurements.
  • Double check the measurement.

WAIST

  • Measure around your waist at the level where you normally wear a belt.
  • With the tape measure snug around your waist, relax and take the measurement.
  • Double check the measurement.

INSEAM

  • Do not wear shoes!
  • Measure from the lowest part of your crotch area to the floor.
  • Make sure the tape is tight along the inside of your leg, and that your legs aren't bent.
  • Double check the measurement.

WOMEN'S MEASUREMENTS

  • No chest puffing or exhaling.
  • Double check the measurement.

SLEEVE

  • Measure from the center back of your neck (bottom center of your collar) to the end of your shoulder at the top of your arm (with your arm hanging straight down), then continue that measurement from the top of your shoulder to the center of the back of your hand. Add both measurements.
